Soil Tests

Every producer should test his soil to get an idea of the minerals in the soil affecting plant growth. By evaluating the soil, producers can discover the soil's suitability for growing a particular crop and plan a fertilizer program. For best results, producers should have their soil tested once every three years.

Read the Soil Sampling Guide for instructions on properly taking a soil sample.
