Supervisor Biographies

Donald Gleim Jr.
Donald Gleim Jr. owns an 85 acre hay, corn, soybean and beef cattle operation and rents an additional 75 acres.  He is a graduate of Moorehead State University where he majored in Business and Marketing and minored in Agriculture.  He also has a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from the University of Dayton.
Donald is a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Farm Bureau, Ohio and National Auctioneer Association, Ohio and National Realtors Association, Portsmouth Realtors Association, and the Ohio Cattlemen’s Association.  He is a licensed auctioneer in Ohio and Kentucky.
Donald and his wife Leslie live in Vernon Township.  They have three sons: Donald III, Adam, and Ethan.

Bill Lewis
Bill Lewis operates a hay and grain farming operation.  A firm believer in using no-till farming, Bill practices no-till with all of the crops he plants.
Bill is a Farm bureau member as well as a member of the Animal Welfare League of Scioto County, Golden Endings Golden Retriever Rescue and also serves on the Farm Credit Advisory Board.
Bill and his wife, Linda, live in Morgan Township.

Frank Pertuset of Rush Township was re-elected to the board of supervisors in 1998. Frank has served as a supervisor since 1982. A pioneer of Scioto County's no-till program, Frank owns or leases approximately 500 acres of hayland and cropland. He is also a member of the Scioto County Farm Bureau, Scioto County Fair Board, and Scioto County Agriculture Society.

Tom Turner of Porter Township was elected to the board of supervisors in 1999. Tom farms a 600 acre grain, beef cattle forage, and produce operation. He is a member of the Scioto County Farm Bureau and Wheelersburg Lions Club. Tom and his wife, Becky, have two sons and a daughter.

Mike Wright of Morgan Township was elected to the board of supervisors in 1999. Mike owns or leases approximately 500 acres in a beef cattle operation. He is a member of the Scioto County Cattleman's Association, the Ohio Farm Bureau and attends the Church of Christ at Dry Run. Mike and his wife, Joann, have two daughters and a son.
