“We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect”
― Aldo Leopold, A Sand County Almanac and Sketches Here and There

Scioto Conservation District offers a variety of Education Services including classroom presentations, a science camp, workshops and trainings for all ages, archery and fishing programs, hunter's education, and we participate in several events like the Scioto County Fair, the Tree City Celebration, and The Rarden Whitetail Deer Festival.  Our staff is often available to speak to your group or class and places great importance on educating the public about land use, pollution concerns, wildlife issues, and agriculture.

Please check our events list for upcoming programs and follow us on Facebook to be sure to keep up to date.
