Trapper's Education Workshop

'Conserving traditional outdoor skills'

Learn the basics of trapping  with seasoned trappers.  Attendees will have the opportunity to set traps and learn skills from beginning site selection all the way through to pelt preparations.  This workshop is offered free of charge thanks to the partnership of the Ohio State Trappers Association and Shawnee State Park. Preregistration is recommended. Course completion will include the opportunity to get your trapper’s education certification from the Ohio Division of Wildlife.  

The event will begin on Saturday, October 26th at 8:00 am and will run through until Saturday afternoon. We will resume the session again on Sunday, October 27th in the morning.
